Wargamingは本日（2018年1月12日），スマホアプリ「World of Warships Blitz」の正式サービスを，1月18日に開始すると発表した。本作は，PC向けオンライン海戦ストラテジー「World of Warships」のモバイル版にあたるタイトル。また，Tier IIIプレミアム艦艇“Aurora”をもらえる事前登録も受け付けられている。
