Take-Two Interactive Japan，延期となっていたMLB公式ベースボールゲーム「Major League Baseball 2K11」の発売日を5月12日に決定

　Take-Two Interactive Japanは本日（2011年4月6日），東日本大震災の影響で延期となっていたMLB公式ベースボールゲーム「Major League Baseball 2K11」（PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 / PSP）の発売日を，5月12日に決定したと発表した。価格は，PS3版とXbox 360版が6090円，PSP版が5040円（いずれも税込）。

　本作は，メジャーリーグを臨場感たっぷりに楽しめる2K Sports開発の人気ベースボールゲームシリーズ最新作。PS3版およびXbox 360版では公式のMLB最新データのダウンロードやオンラインでの対戦が可能，またすべてのプラットフォームでチーム運営やホームランダービーなどのモードを楽しめるなど，ベースボールファン必携の一本だ。なお本作は，日本語マニュアル付き英語版となっている。
　前述のとおり，本作は東日本大震災の影響から，3月15日の時点で発売日が未定とされていたが，本日あらためて正式に発売日が発表された。シリーズのファンはもちろん，遊んだことがないという人も，昨今では多くの日本人選手も登場している本作に，ぜひ注目しておいてほしい。
