「Warhammer 40,000: Darktide」の最新トレイラーが“Summer Game Fest 2022”で公開。地下世界で繰り広げられる過酷なバトルを確認しよう

　Games WorkshopとFatsharkが制作する「Warhammer 40,000: Darktide」（PC / Xbox Series X）の最新トレイラーが，2022年6月10日に開催されたゲームイベント「Summer Game Fest 2022」で公開された。

　本作はGames WorkshopのミニチュアTRPG「Warhammer 40,000」の世界を舞台にした一人称視点のアクションゲームで，プレイヤーは，「はぐれ者」（Rejects）達で構成された民兵組織「ガウンツ・ゴースト」のメンバーとなって，インぺリアムの巨大都市テルティウムを混沌に陥れようとするカオスのカルト教団に立ち向かっていく。


　スウェーデンのFatsharkは，2015年にリリースされた「Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide」や，その続編「Warhammer: Vermintide 2」（2018年）の開発を担当したデベロッパで，本作もVermintideと同様，最大4人のプレイヤーによるCo-opが基本だ。屈強なOgrynなど，4つのクラスが用意されており，外観や性別のカスタマイズが可能になっている。


　公開された映像は，Games Workshopとライセンスパートナーが6月1日に開催した「ウォーハンマースカル」でお披露目されたティザー映像（関連記事）に続くもので，電力システムを妨害した敵を掃討するため，4人のはぐれ者達が送り込まれるという設定だ。舞台となるティルティムの地下世界ハイヴの雰囲気や，無数の敵を相手に繰り広げられるバイオレントな接近戦の模様が確認できるはずだ。
