「Crysis Remastered」，PC/PS4/Xbox One版の発売が9月18日に決定

　ドイツのデベロッパCrytekは，北米のSaber Interactiveと共同で開発中のFPS「Crysis Remastered」のPC版とPlayStation 4版，そしてXbox One版を2020年9月18日にリリースすると発表した。価格は29.99ドルが予定されており，Epic Games Store，PlayStation Store，そしてMicrofoft Storeでダウンロード販売が行われるとのこと。
　今のところ日本での展開は発表されていないが，Nintendo Switch版は，海外よりやや遅れたものの現在，ニンテンドーeショップで日本語対応版が販売されている（関連記事）。

Crytek Announces Release Date for Crysis Remastered

　「Crysis Remastered」は，2007年にPC版がリリースされた「Crysis」のリマスター作品。プレイヤーはアメリカ陸軍特殊部隊「ラプターチーム」の隊員ノーマッドとして，北朝鮮軍の侵攻によって消息を絶った調査隊を救出するため，フィリピン海に浮かぶ孤島に潜入するという物語が繰り広げられる。
　共同開発のSaber Interactiveは，「World War Z」（PC/PlayStation 4/Xbox One）で知られるメーカー。リマスターにあたっては，8K解像度やHDRのサポートのほか，Screen Space Directional Occlusion（SSDO）やグローバルイルミネーション（SVOGI）など，さまざまな技術が使われているという。オリジナル版とグラフィックスを比較するトレイラーも公開されているので，チェックしてみよう。
