「フォートナイト」が元プロバスケ選手のシャキール・オニールさんとコラボ。本人出演のトレイラー公開

　「フォートナイト」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch / Android）の公式YouTubeチャンネルで，「Fortnite x Shaquille O'Neal」と題されたトレイラーが2024年10月3日に公開された。


　タイトル名通り，元プロバスケットボール選手のシャキール・オニールさんとのコラボを発表するこのムービーには，オニールさん本人が出演している。
　DJ Dieselとしての活動でも知られるオニールさんは，ステージでDJプレイを見せた後，その巨体で客席にダイブ。しかしオーディエンスには避けられてしまい，床を突き破って……と，いろいろあった後，ゲーム内のスキンとしての姿が披露される。


　スキンは「SHAQ」のロゴ入りで，ツルハシはまるで斧のようなごついデザイン。バスケ要素こそなさそうだが，オニールさんらしい豪快なものとなっている。
