EA，Need for Speedのライブイベント「Need for Speed Live」を発表

　Electronic Artsは，ラスベガスで開催されている自動車のアフターパーツ専門ショウ“2008 SEMA Show”の場において，レースゲームNeed for Speedをテーマにしたレースイベント，「Need for Speed Live」を2009年6月に開催すると発表した。


　Need for Speed Liveは，2009年6月26日～28日にわたり，イギリスのブランズハッチ・サーキットにおいて行われるドリフト＆タイムアタックコンテストだ。
　イベント当日は，チューニングマシンによるドリフトショウやタイムアタックコンテストのほか，音楽ライブや，Need for Speedを使ったゲームのトーナメントなども行われる予定で，ゲーム・車・音楽による総合エンタータインメントイベントとなる。
　ドリフトコンテストには日米欧の有名ドリフターが招待されるとのことで，日本からはいったい誰が招かれるのかも気になるところだ。
