「The Battle for Middle-Earth II」クローズドβテストは12月開始

　Electronic Artsは，指輪物語モチーフのRTS「The Lord of the Rings：The Battle for Middle-Earth II」のマルチプレイ・クローズドβテストを，2005年12月上旬に開始すると発表した
　テストの詳細は不明ながら，数種類のマップと勢力が含まれたバージョンとなるようで，ゲームの購入予約をした人は，12月中旬からテストに参加できるとのことだ。
　なお，シングルプレイ用のデモ版も，ゲーム発売前に公開される予定だという。（朝倉哲也）
