ドイツ語版「F.E.A.R.」に，残虐シーン復活パッチが登場

　日本でも先日発売されたばかりの，ミリタリー＆ホラーFPS「F.E.A.R.」（邦題 F.E.A.R. 英語版/日本語マニュアル付 -ディレクターズエディション DVD-）のドイツ語版専用パッチがリリースされた。

　これは，ドイツ語版だと標準ではカットされている残虐シーン，あるいは流血シーンを，北米版相当に，ある意味"戻す"もの。ライブドアから発売された日本正式発売版や，北米版並行輸入品のユーザーにとっては無関係だが，"PCゲーム先進国"ドイツの事情が垣間見えて興味深い。セクシャルな表現には寛容である一方，暴力表現には非常に厳しいという，お国柄を反映したパッチともいえるだろう。（朝倉哲也）
