ホラーシューティング「F.E.A.R.」完成，米国などで10月18日発売

　Vivendi Universal Gamesは，ホラーFPS「F.E.A.R.」の開発が無事終了し，海外では2005年10月18日に49.99ドルで発売すると発表した。
　F.E.A.R.は，ミリタリーシューティングにホラーの要素を加えたFPSで，完全武装した特殊部隊員が派手な銃撃戦を繰り広げる中，謎の少女の影が見え隠れするという，ミステリアスな雰囲気を漂わせたタイトル。
　開発は，「No One Lives Forever」「Tron 2.0」などアクションゲームを得意とするMonolith Productionsで，海外公式サイトは「こちら」。
　なお日本ではライブドアから発売される予定だが，現在のところ発売日に関しては発表されていない。（朝倉哲也）
