ホラーアクション「F.E.A.R.」の，DVDスペシャルバージョンが明らかに
激しいミリタリーアクションとホラーが融合したFPS「F.E.A.R.」に，DVD版Director's Editionが登場する。
このDirector's Editionには製品のほか開発裏話的なムービー，開発者たちのコメントムービー，コミックブックなどの特典が収められている。発売時期と価格に関しては不明だが，オリジナルの「F.E.A.R.」が2005年10月の発売予定となっているので，同時発売となる可能性が高い。
