	凄まじいまでのグラフィックスによって，FPSゲーマーの期待を一身に集めている「Doom 3」だが，開発元id SoftwareのJohn Carmackが，ドイツのゲーム雑誌インタビューに答え，その動作環境の一部を明らかにした。 　それによれば128MBのメモリを搭載し，PixelShader1.1をサポートするビデオカード，そして2.5GHzクラスのCPUが必要であるとコメントしたようだ。 　ほかにも，「Doom 3」は4枚組CD-ROMとなり，デスマッチ/チーム・デスマッチ/トーナメント/ラストマン・スタンディングといったマルチプレイモードを搭載しての発売となる模様。（Asakura）
