コンシューマ機版の発売が近づくターン制のストラテジー「Jagged Alliance 3」，最新トレイラー公開

　THQ Nordicは，ブルガリアのデベロッパHaemimont Gamesが開発したターン制のストラテジー「Jagged Alliance 3」（PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One）の最新トレイラーを公開した。

　2023年11月16日の発売が予定されている「Jagged Alliance 3」の舞台となるのは，南米っぽい架空の国Grand Chienだ。豊かな天然資源を持つ国だが政情は不安定で，現職の大統領が突然行方不明になり，「The Legion」という武装組織が地方を掌握したことで，国内は大混乱に陥っている。プレイヤーは，軍事会社Adonisの社員として，傭兵たちを集めてチームを編成し，さまざまな作戦に挑んでいく。


　シリーズ第1弾となる「Jagged Alliance」がリリースされたのは1995年で，その高評価とヒットを受けて続編となる「Jagged Alliance 2」が1999年に登場したものの，ナンバリング最新作は難産となった。制作発表は2004年だったが，デベロッパが何度も変わったほか，IPを所有するパブリッシャも移り変わった。最終的に完成させたHaemimont Gamesは，“3”以降の「トロピコ」シリーズで知られるデベロッパだ。PC版はコンシューマ機版に先行して7月にリリースされており，Steamのユーザーレビューは「非常に好評」となっている。


　公開されたトレイラーはイメージ主体で，インゲームシーンは少ないものの，個性的な傭兵たちが，それぞれの特技を生かしてミッションをこなしていく様子が確認できる。ゲームが日本語をサポートしていないのが残念だが，発売に期待している人は，ぜひ視聴してほしい。
