道なき道に悪戦苦闘するオフロードADV「Expeditions: A MudRunner Game」のリリース日が2024年3月5日に決定

　Focus Entertainmentは2023年12月14日，Saber Interactiveが開発するオフロードアドベンチャー「Expeditions: A MudRunner Game」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch）の発売日を2024年3月5日と発表し，トレイラーを公開した。Steamストアページの情報によると，日本での配信開始は3月6日となっている。


　本作は，さまざまな種類の全地形対応車で道なき道を進み，未開の地の調査を行うゲーム。Saber Interactiveが過去にリリースし，いずれも高い評価を得た「MudRunner」や「SnowRunner」に続くタイトルだ。

　公開されたトレイラーは，川を渡ろうとした車両が深みにはまり，エンジンが壊れてしまうところからスタートし，ウインチを使ってほぼ垂直の崖を登ったり，急流に橋を架けて渡ったりといったシーンが続く。ドローンやセンサーを使って地形を把握し，より走りやすいルートを見つけることも重要になるようだ。


　PS StoreやMicrosoft Store，ニンテンドーeショップでは，本作のページがなかったり，日本語への対応が不明だったりといった感じだが，Steamではすでに予約受付が開始されており，日本語対応も明記されているので，コンシューマゲーム機版でも国内向けの展開を期待したいところだ。
