過酷なバイクレース「マン島TT」をモチーフにした「TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 3」，スネーフェル山のコースを紹介する最新トレイラー公開

　Naconは，RaceWard Studiosの新作バイクレースゲーム「TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch）の最新トレイラーを，Naconが開催したオンラインイベント「Nacon Connect 2023」で公開した。


　「TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3」は，世界で最も危険だとされる「マン島TT（Tourist Trophy）レース」の公式ライセンスを取得した作品だ。264のコーナーを含む60km以上のロードからなるコースを舞台に，マン島TTレース優勝というライダーにとって最高の栄誉のため，命がけの戦いに臨むことになる。
　21人のスーパーバイク選手と，17人のスーパースポーツ選手が用意されており，プレイヤーはその中から1人を選択してレースに挑戦。操作方法は直感的で習得しやすく，最先端の物理演算技術が高い没入感を生み出すため，プロライダーでも本作をトレーニングに活用するほどだという。


　今回の映像では，マン島の最高峰である標高621mのスネーフェル山に設けられたコースを駆け抜ける様子が紹介されている。山（というより丘だが）であるため，視界を遮る木立や家屋は少なく見晴らしは良いが，カーブの続く難コースであることが分かるはず。そこを時速280?を超えるスピードで走行するバイクのレーサー視点が楽しめる。


　そんな「TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3」は，日本語対応で2023年5月にリリースされる。発売後には週間，月間でレースやチャレンジが配信される予定になっているので，長く楽しめるバイクレースゲームになりそうだ。
