「Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun」の最新トレイラーが公開に。40Kの世界観を90年代のクラシカルなグラフィックスで再現

　Focus Entertainmentは本日（2023年5月11日），同社が5月23日に発売を予定している「Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One）の最新トレイラーを公開した。


　本作はWarhammer 40,000の壮大な世界を，1990年代のクラシカルなグラフィックスで再現したシューティングゲームだ。プレイヤーはスペースマリーンとして銀河中で展開する危険な任務に挑み，ケイオス・スペースマリーンやデーモンと激しい戦いを繰り広げていく。


　「DOOM」や「Quake」を彷彿とさせるビジュアルが特徴的で，レトロな雰囲気を演出するために，ピクセルアートやローポリゴンなどの手法が用いられている。一方でゲームシステムやAIには最新の技術が使われており，レトロとモダンが融合したユニークなゲーム体験が見どころとなりそうだ。
