［E3 2021］ギター教習ゲーム「Rocksmith」の新作が発表。スマホをマイクとして使えるうえ，サブスクリプション形式での提供に

　Ubisoftは本日（2021年6月13日），デジタルイベント「Ubisoft Forward」で，「Rocksmith+」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X / Xbox One / iOS / Android）を発表した。

　「ロックスミス」シリーズの旧作では，プレイに専用デバイスの「リアルトーンケーブル」が必要だったが，本作ではPCやゲーム機をiOS / Androidアプリ版と連動させることで，スマートフォンをマイクとして利用できる（「リアルトーンケーブル」を用いたプレイも引き続き可能）。これにより，アコースティックギターでもプレイできるようになった。また，上級者向けに譜面をタブ譜表示にする機能も追加される。

　売り切り＋DLCでの提供だった旧作とは異なり，本作はサブスクリプション形式のサービスとして提供されるとのこと。最初から多くの楽曲を収録しているのはもちろん，週ごとに多くのアレンジ譜を配信していくという。

　公式サイトではクローズドβテストの参加者募集が開始されている。なお，現在はアクセス集中のためか登録ページでエラーが出るようになっているので，参加したい人は時間を置いてアクセスしてみると良いだろう。
