於パリ(フランス)2021年4月15日-デジタル配信型ゲームおよびソーシャルゲームの世界的パブリッシャーであるゲームロフト(本社:フランス共和国・パリ)は、世界屈指のダウンロード数と長い歴史を誇り、多数の受賞歴を持つアーケードレースシリーズ「アスファルト」が、全プラットフォーム総計10億ダウンロードを突破したことを発表しました。16年目を迎えた本シリーズは、2005年にJavaベースのフィーチャーフォン、N-Gage、ニンテンドーDS向けに制作された『アスファルト アーバン GT』から始まり、現在、App Store、Google Play、Microsoft Store、Nintendo Switch、macOSで入手またはプレイ可能な大ヒット作『アスファルト9:Legends』が最新作となっています。

さらに、ゲームロフトは近々『アスファルト 9:Legends』をXbox Series X/S、Xbox Oneコンソール向けにリリースすることも発表しました(基本プレイ無料)。こちらはWindows 10プレイヤー向けにクロスプレイ、クロスセーブにも対応しています。詳細は近日中に公開予定です。このほか、『アスファルト 8:Airborne』、『アスファルト 9:Legends』では、2021年4月26日より期間限定の記念イベントを実施予定で、プレイヤーに向けて数々の報酬をご用意しています。
