少女が日記に綴るファンタジー世界を旅するアドベンチャーゲーム，「Lost Words: Beyond the Page」の最新トレイラー公開

　Modus Gamesは，イギリスのコルチェスターに本拠を置くSketchbook Gamesが開発中のアドベンチャーゲーム「Lost Words: Beyond the Page」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One / Switch）の最新トレイラーを公開し，2020年内にリリースすると発表した。

　少女イギーがイラストと共に日記に綴る美しいファンタジー世界「エストリア」を舞台に，さまざまなパズルに挑んでいくという本作。脚本のリアンナ・プラチェット（Rhianna Prachett）氏は，「ディスクワールド」などの名作ファンタジーで知られる故テリー・プラチェット（Terry Pratchett）氏の娘で，ゲームでは，「ミラーズエッジ」や「Rise of the Tomb Raider」などの脚本を執筆した経験を持っている。


　本作の開発が始まったのは，2013年にイギリスで開催されたゲームジャム（即興ゲーム開発イベント）とのことで，開発期間の長いゲームだけあって，過去にも何度かゲームイベントで紹介されてきた。今回のトレイラーは，ニューヨークで開催されたイベント「2020 NY Videogame Awards」で，本作のパブリッシングをModus Gamesが担当することが発表された際に公開されたものとのこと。PC版については，Steamのストアページがすでにオープンしているが，日本語への対応は行われていないようだ。
