「バルダーズ・ゲート3」，第27回「D.I.C.E. Awards」でGame of the Yearを受賞
Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciencesは本日（2024年2月16日），第27回「D.I.C.E. Awards」で，Larian Studiosが開発したファンタジーRPG「バルダーズ・ゲート3」（PC / PS5）がGame of the Yearを受賞したことを明らかにした。
D.I.C.E. Awardsは，ゲーム業界の専門家らが構成する非営利団体，Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciencesが主催するイベントだ。1998年に始まり，ゲームのアカデミー賞に相当する，ゲーム業界で最も権威のある賞の1つなどと言われている。
なお，「バルダーズ・ゲート3」はThe Game Awards 2023とGolden Joystick Awards 2023でもGame of the Yearを受賞しており，3月のGame Developers Choice Awardsでも受賞を果たせば，「The Elder Scrolls V：Skyrim」「ゼルダの伝説 ブレス オブ ザ ワイルド」「エルデンリング」に続く快挙となる。
