「Darksiders III」のプレイムービーが公開。鞭で戦うフューリーの勇姿を確認できる

　THQ NordicとGunfire Gamesは，開発中のアクションアドベンチャー「Darksiders III」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）の初となるプレイムービーを公開した。


　「Darksiders」は，「黙示録の四騎士」の活躍を描くシリーズで，初代「Darksiders」では「ウォー」（戦争），「Darksiders II」では「デス」（死）が主人公となっていたが，「Darksiders III」で主役を務めるのは，女性戦士「フューリー」（憤怒）である。彼女の目的は，地上に放たれた“七つの大罪”の化身たちを始末することだ。

　今回のムービーは1分半ほどの長さで，フューリーが地獄へと向かう途中と思われる場所でのアクションシーンや，Lava Bruteというキャラクターと戦う様子が収められている。　フューリーの象徴となる鞭は武器としてだけでなく，高所に引っかけて，ターザンのように移動するといった使い方もあるようだ。


　本作は2018年にリリース予定。残念ながら今のところ日本語表示への対応はアナウンスされていないが，前2作がいずれも好評だったシリーズの最新作だけに，今後の情報に期待したい。
