［E3 2014］4人Co-opに対応したシリーズ最新作「Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris」。襲いかかるトラップをかいくぐるトレイラーが公開

　SQUARE ENIXは，ララ・クロフトシリーズの最新作「Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris」をPC，PlayStation 4，Xbox Oneの各プラットフォームに向け発売すると発表した。発売は「間もなく」とされ，E3 2014のタイミングではゲーム内容を紹介するトレイラーが公開されている。


　本作はPC，PlayStation 3，そしてXbox 360用のダウンロード専売で発売された「ララ・クロフト アンド ガーディアン オブ ライト」の続編となるタイトル。トゥームレイダーシリーズのスピンアウト作品として登場した同作は，クォータービュー，そして2人Co-opを実現するという独自のゲーム性によりスマッシュヒットとなった。


　最新作であるLara Croft and the Temple of Osirisでは，そのCo-op要素にさらに磨きがかかり，最大4人での協力プレイに対応する。今回のLara Croft（ララ・クロフト）は，ライバルのトレジャーハンター・Carter Bell（カーター・ベル），また投獄された神であるホルス，イシスと手を組んで，寺院内に仕掛けられたさまざまなトラップやパズルに立ち向かうことになる。
　ララ達の行く手を阻む邪悪な神・セトの企みとは？　冥界から迫る神話の怪物達から人類を救うため，「fragments of Osiris」（オシリスの断片）をめぐる冒険が展開される。

　現在のところ日本語版についての情報はないが，SQUARE ENIXがパブリッシャーであることを考えると，前作と同様に国内での販売にも期待できそうだ。続報に期待しよう。
