ユービーアイ，「チャイルド オブ ライト」「バリアント ハート　-ザ グレイト ウォー-」の日本語版配信を「UBIDAY2013」で発表

　ユービーアイソフトは昨日（2013年10月20日），東京・秋葉原で開催されたイベント「UBIDAY2013」において，新作タイトルとなる「チャイルド オブ ライト」と「バリアント ハート　-ザ グレイト ウォー-」の日本語版をリリースすると発表した。対応機種は，「チャイルド オブ ライト」がPCおよびPS4，PS3，Xbox One，Xbox 360，そしてWii U。「バリアント ハート　-ザ グレイト ウォー-」がPCおよびPS4，PS3，Xbox One，Xbox 360となっている。各機種版ともダウンロート専用で，配信予定は2014年内。価格およびCEROのレーティングは未定となっている。



　この2タイトルは，2013年9月にサンフランシスコとパリで開催されたUbisoft Entertainmentのプライベートイベント，「The Ubisoft Digital Days 2013」で新たに発表された作品。ファンタジー世界を舞台にした正統派RPGである「チャイルド オブ ライト」と，第一次世界大戦を背景にしたハートウォーミングなパズルアドベンチャーである「バリアント ハート　-ザ グレイト ウォー-」。内容こそかなり異なるが，いずれもUbisoftが開発したゲームエンジン「UBIart Framework」を使用して作られており，手描の絵がそのまま動き出したようなアートワークが大きな特徴となる。
