「フォートナイト」，チャプター2シーズン7“インベージョン”の配信がスタート。バトルパスにはスーパーマンやリック・アンド・モーティのコラボアイテムも登場

　Epic Gamesは本日（2021年6月8日），バトルロイヤルゲーム「Fortnite」（PC / Xbox One / PS4 / iOS / Nintendo Switch / PS5 / Xbox Series X）のチャプター2シーズン7“インベージョン”をリリースし，新たなバトルパスの配信を開始した。


　それに合わせて，ストーリーとバトルパスの内容を紹介するトレイラーも公開された。トレイラーには巨大なUFOやミステリーサークルが映し出されており，ちょっとしたSFオカルトの雰囲気を感じ取ることができる。


　今シーズンのバトルパスには，カスタマイズできるコスチューム“カイメラ”が収録され，アーティファクトを収集することで様々なスタイルで戦えるようになるという。

　また，各トレイラーにはアニメ「リック・アンド・モーティ」のリック・サンチェスや，アメコミ「スーパーマン」のクラーク・ケントといったキャラクターが登場しており，バトルパスにはリックの関連アイテムも収録されている。
