Croteam，「Serious Sam 3: BFE」のDLC，「Jewel of the Nile」の制作を発表し，スクリーンショットを公開

　クロアチアのCroteamは，爽快系FPS「Serious Sam 3: BFE」のDLC，「Jewel of the Nile」を2012年10月にリリースすると発表し，スクリーンショットを公開した。

　Jewel of the Nileは，シングルプレイ向けの追加コンテンツとなる予定で，3つのミッションが用意されている。プレイヤーは，宿敵“Mental”の軍勢を壊滅させるきっかけを掴むため，秘密のオブジェクトが眠るという神殿のある孤島を目指し，動くものならすべて銃撃しつつ，とにかく突き進んでいく。レーザーガンとスナイパーガンが新たに追加されるようだが，ストーリーでどのように活かされていくのかも気になるところだ。


　このJewel of the NileはPC版のみのリリースで，PlayStation 3，Xbox 360版は予定されていないとのこと。日本では，「シリアス サム 3 BFE 日本語版」として発売中の本作だが，日本でのJewel of the Nileのリリースについては，今のところ発表されていない。
