「The Chronicles of Riddick：Assault on Dark Athena」の発売が決定

　2004年に公開された，ヴィン・ディーゼル主演映画「The Chronicles of Riddick」をベースにした，新作FPS「The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena」が発表された。プレイヤーは主人公のリディック（Riddick）となって，略奪船Dark Athenaを舞台に大活躍することになるようだ。
　開発元はTigon StudiosとStarbreeze Studiosで，2009年春にAtariより発売予定。対応プラットフォームはPC，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3の3機種となっている。

　ゲームの詳細は不明だが，開発スタジオの一つTigon Studiosといえば，2002年にヴィン・ディーゼルが設立したゲーム/映画制作会社だけに，原作映画のファンには，期待の持てそうなタイトルといえるだろう。
