「Anno 1404」，北米地域でのタイトルが「Dawn of Discovery」に決定

　海外ゲーム情報サイトBlue's Newsが伝えたところによると，Ubisoft Entertainmentの都市建設シム「Anno 1404」の北米版タイトルが，「Dawn of Discovery」に決定した。また，対応プラットフォームがPC，Nintendo DS，Wiiで，それぞれ2009年夏に発売予定であることが発表されたという。PC版は当初，2009年3月頃にリリースされる見込みとされていたが，残念ながら数か月先となってしまった。



　以前お伝えしたとおり，本作は，2000年に登場した「Anno 1602」に端を発するAnnoシリーズ最新作で，15世紀のヨーロッパを舞台に，小さな村を大都市に発展させていくという内容。
　Blue's Newsの記事内に引用されているリリース文によれば，NDS版やWii版には，タッチペンやWiiリモコンを生かしたインタフェースが採用されており，またWii版には，二人での協力プレイモードが用意されているとのことだ。

　ヨーロッパ版の公式サイトには，スクリーンショットやムービートレイラーが掲載されている。見事というほかない，非常に美しいグラフィックスが確認できる。
