「バトルフィールド2 ユーロフォース」カウントダウン開始

　ここは戦場。そして私は衛生兵。あ，あそこに味方が倒れている。しっかりしろ！
「……を，く，くれ……」
　なんだ？　水が欲しいのか？
「……マップ，もっとマップをくれ……（パッタリ）」

　そのとおりである。本編「バトルフィールド2」が発売されて約8か月，追加パックの「バトルフィールド2 スペシャル・フォース」が発売されて約4か月。そろそろ新しいマップが欲しい，くれ，ちょうだい，というプレイヤーが増えつつあるのは軍事的観点からも間違いないだろう。
　そんな欲求不満のソルジャー達に贈りたいのがこの「バトルフィールド2 ユーロフォース」だ，ってのはもうさんざん書いてきたのでいまさらだが，いよいよダウンロード開始まであと3日になった，ということでエレクトロニック・アーツの公式サイトにこんなページが登場した。
　したがって，兵士諸君は丸暗記するまで読むこと。だが，丸暗記したからって何もいいことがないのは言うまでもないことである。（松本隆一）
