Ubisoft，AnnoシリーズのSunFlowersを買収
ゲーム発売元大手のUbisoft Entertainmentは，ドイツのパブリッシャ/デベロッパであるSunFlowersの買収を発表した。
SunFlowersは，4Gamerの連載でもお馴染みの，「Anno 1701」（邦題 創世紀 1701）の開発元。Annoシリーズは世界で500万本の売り上げを記録しているという。
Ubisoftには，すでにSettlersシリーズという人気のストラテジーシリーズがあり，Annoシリーズを加えることで，より強固なストラテジーゲームフランチャイズを確立することになるだろう。（朝倉哲也）
