MS，「AoE III」と拡張パック第1弾「ウォーチーフ」の価格を改定

　マイクロソフトは本日（11月16日），歴史RTSの人気作「マイクロソフト エイジ オブ エンパイア III」と，その拡張パック第1弾である「マイクロソフト エイジ オブ エンパイア III：ザ ウォーチーフ」の価格を改定すると発表した。新価格は，以下のとおり（すべて税込）。

■マイクロソフト エイジ オブ エンパイア III
新価格：7140円（旧価格：9870円）

■マイクロソフト エイジ オブ エンパイア III：ザ ウォーチーフ
新価格：3990円（旧価格：6090円）

　なお，これらの2作品は今回の価格改定を機に，Windows Vistaの正式対応製品となる。Windows Vistaでこれらのゲームを遊んでいる人もサポートを受けられるので，安心してプレイできるだろう。

　今回の価格改定は，AoE IIIの拡張パック第2弾「マイクロソフト エイジ オブ エンパイア III：アジアの覇王」と，AoE III本体とウォーチーフをセットにした「エイジ オブ エンパイア III：ゴールド エディション」が，本日発売されることに合わせてのもの。
　AoE III本体を持っているが，まだ拡張パックは遊んでいないという人や，AoE IIIをこれから遊んでみようと思っている人にとって，喜ばしいニュースといえるだろう。
