北米で2012年5月25日発売，「Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier」のローンチムービー公開

　Ubisoft Entertainmentは，北米で2012年5月25日に発売される予定の「Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）のローンチムービーを公開した。

　「Ghost Recon」シリーズの最新作となる本作では，敵の攻撃によって大きな打撃を受け，新たに結成されたアメリカ軍特殊部隊Ghostと，ロシアのテロリストとの戦いが描かれることになる。2012年5月14日の記事で紹介したライブアクションムービー「GHOST RECON ALPHA」など，力の入ったプロモーションが繰り広げられている本作だが，今回のローンチムービーでは，謎のミサイル攻撃など，迫力あるゲームシーンが収録されている。


　米軍が実際に研究を進めているといわれる光学迷彩スーツなど，さまざまなハイテクガジェットや兵器が登場するGhost Recon: Future Soldier。今回は，ナイジェリアの森林地帯からパキスタンの砂漠まで，世界各地を舞台にゲームを進めていくという。50種類におよぶ武器を，さまざまなパーツを使って改造する「Gunsmith」も楽しみだ。

　日本ではユービーアイソフトからPlayStation 3/Xbox 360版が2012年7月5日に発売される予定になっており，Xbox 360版にはKinectのジェスチャーとボイスコマンドを使ってGunsmithを進めていくというユニークなシステムも実装されている。
