	最大64人で対戦できる第二次世界大戦FPS「バトルフィールド1942」に，最新世界共通パッチVersion1.5が公開された。もちろん日本語にも対応済みだ。 　1.5パッチの主な変更点は，カスタムゲームで拡張パックを変更するときにCDを入れ替える必要がなくなったほか，「フィリピン侵攻作戦」というフリーマップが追加。またアメリカと日本の工兵がセミオートライフルを装備するようになり，日本軍兵器のジープと歩兵輸送車が日本専用のものに変更となった。ほかにも細かい点がいくつか改善されているようだ。 　なお本パッチをインストールする前に，日本語版初回パッチVersion1.01をインストールしておく必要がある（現在出荷中の製品には，日本語版初回パッチをインストールする必要はない）。 　詳しくはパッチダウンロードページ「こちら」か，エレクトロニック・アーツの公式サイト「こちら」を参照しよう。（Kawamura）
