ファンタジーRPG「Dungeon Siege II」の拡張パックが発表に
Microsoftが販売しているファンタジーRPG「Microsoft Dungeon Siege II」（邦題 マイクロソフト ダンジョン シージ 2）の拡張パック，「Dungeon Siege II: Broken World」が発表された。
この拡張パックでは，キャンペーンシナリオや種族の追加が行われるとともに，新たに“マルチクラスキャラクター育成システム”が採用されるとのことだ。
Broken Worldの開発元は，本編と同じGas Powered Gamesで，北米地域では2006年第2四半期にリリースされる予定になっている。
なお，海外パブリッシャの大手Take-Two InteractiveがDungeon Siegeの販売権を獲得したため，Broken Worldは，Take-Twoのゲームレーベルの一つである2K Gamesが販売を行う。
ちなみに2K Gamesでは，Dungeon Siegeシリーズの新作「Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony」を，PSP用として発売する予定もあるとのことだ。（朝倉哲也）
