MQが運営する「CoD：UO」の対戦サーバー，11月末で閉鎖に

　「コールオブデューティー」の拡張パック「コールオブデューティー：ユナイテッドオフェンシブ」に対応した対戦サーバー「Mediaquest_JPN」が，2005年11月末で閉鎖されることになった。

　CoD：UO対戦サーバー「Mediaquest_JPN」は，日本語版の販売元であるメディアクエストが，2004年10月に開設。以降約1年にわたって運営され，同作の根強いファンに利用されてきた。

　同作ファンにとっては残念な話題だが，2005年12月2日には，ラッセルを通じてシリーズ最新作「コールオブデューティー 2 日本語マニュアル付英語版」がリリースされる。こちらも息の長いタイトルになりそうなので，興味のある人はぜひチェックを。購入の検討材料として，4Gamerに掲載したレビュー記事も参考にしてほしい。（大路政志）
